In order to sharpen Customers’ perception and at the same time being able to continually deliver goods meeting broadly defined requirements, the malting plant in Strzegom has obtained, apart from ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 22000:2005, certificates of ecological and kosher production.

iso Quality Control System according to ISO 9001 was implemented in 2005 and is still maintained and improved. Meeting specified requirements which constitute part of the system, the malting plant is capable of even greater satisfaction of its Customers by an effective application of the system along with the processes pertaining to its continual improvement and conformity with the Customers’ requirements as well as legal regulations.
 

 
iso Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 was established and implemented in 2008. Bearing in mind legal requirements pertaining to the adaptation to the EU standards, the malting plant obliges to the environment protection by reducing the use of utilities, pollutants emission into the atmosphere and sewers as well as a reasonable handling of natural resources.

The Food Safety Management System according to ISO 22000:2005 was implemented and certified in 2009. The food safety is the most important issue which combines participants of the entire food chain in the world. In order to emphasize the attention paid in the Strzegom Malthouse to delivery of products safe to health and continuous identification of risks, the Malthouse improved and ensured uniformity of their approach to health safety of manufactured products. When the system compliant with ISO 22000:2005 was implemented in the Malthouse, the following four key elements on which the new standard is based were verified and unified: preliminary programs (PRP) i.e. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygienic Practice (GHP) programs, principles of the HACCP system and its verification, as well as the principles of internal and external communication which cover all concerned parties directly or indirectly participating in manufacture of products in the Malthouse, i.e. suppliers of raw materials, employees, service providers, clients, Control Units etc.

 

 
iso Kosher certificate confirms that all products of the malting plant in Strzegom meet requirements pertaining to rules applying to Jewish law and can be used in products fit for use by Judaism followers.
 

 
iso Organic/ecological production certificate confirms that the product was manufactured in accordance with the specified requirements of the EU directive from a special type of ecological barley coming from exclusively ecological harvest.
