The malting plant in Strzegom boasts a several years’ experience in quality control of its products. Laboratory analyses are conducted in a modern laboratory which specializes in an increasingly broader research scope.
The analyses cover among others protein, moisture and starch content research, pollutants labels in raw materials as well as products’ physical-chemical properties such as: extract content, color, ph, viscosity, high-molecular-weight β-glucans content. Apart from routinely conducted markings for every production part, specific properties are also marked – depending on the Customer’s needs (for instance gushing, falling number, enzymatic activity etc.). All markings are conducted in accordance with the methodologies described in EBC Analysis or conforming to the directives specified by the Customer ( IoB methodology, MEBAK and others).
The laboratory possesses a constantly developing technical facility taking advantage of such methods as: spectroscopy in infrared, fluorescence, UV-VIS spectroscopy. By using the most modern technologies as well as thanks to a continual development of equipment, we ensure proper quality and analyses repeatability, health security as well as the natural environment protection ( by reducing the use of reagents).
Specialized analyses requested by our Customers as well as required by legal regulations (regarding heavy metals content, mycotoxins, pesticides, nitrosoamines among others) are carried out in accredited laboratories in Poland, Denmark and Germany. Every malt part shipped to the Customer has an individual quality certificate which constitutes a proof of the product quality.
