The main types of malt manufactured in the malting plant in Strzegom are: light dried malts (pilsner and Munich type) and specially roasted (caramel and dyeing) malts. To meet our Customers’ expectations, we offer a vast array of malts different in terms of their color and aroma. In this way we provide a great opportunity of enriching beer with unique features such as: taste, aroma, color and frothiness. Our main Customers are Breweries. However, our products are also frequently used in the baking industry in which malt (after being ground) is excellent as a flour component (bread, sweets), a chicory coffee supplement; it flavors and colors specialized animal feeds or is used as a raw material to manufacture malt extracts for food industry.
The production technology is based on traditional technique of wetting but the whole secret of perfect quality of malts lies in the technique of extremely delicate malting in the still working Galland drums as well as the technique of drying with the use of a unique 3-level dryer or roasting in modern roasters. Thanks to this, we obtain a wide range of products for numerous applications.
